Mp/s red

I have a Intel 13900k clocked at 6ghz, 32 ddr 5 mem 7600, 990 pro ssd, and an Asus strix 4090. Pc runs great. Why is my mp/s red? Once in awhile I do crash to desktop latest nvidia driver.

It won't show up in the update history, but if you click to uninstall updates, you will be able to select it. That is how it worked for me too, I also first thought I can't uninstall it anymore, but it worked fine.

It made my performance in Cyberpunk 2077 better and fixed a texture glitch in Forza Horizon 5, just uninstalling that security update.

I checked my update history. I do see version KB5074109 there, but unfortunately, I can't delete it anymore. The date and time are pretty close to when the problems started in Battlefield 6. So, unfortunately, I'll have to wait a while for Windows to release a proper fix. Thanks for the tip to check!

The blue ones for max visibility and minimum performance hit. For AA i read DLAA for nvidia card owners.

If it shows your CPU is running at 116% that probably means it's just one of the cores and not the package. Because single cores will boost their clocks automaticly on the fly and that is normal. Maybe for whatever reason it shows the value of the CPU core with the highest utilization instead of the package who knows.

If you haven't already make sure to uninstall Windows Security Update KB5074109 because it drastically reduces game performance in some games.

Ok cool I shut off DlSS and it all went green it did drop fps but tripled mp/s . any other setting i should use? IM not sure which anti aliasing mode i should us?

  • What display resolution are you playing at and are you using DLSS?

If your are using DLSS try turning it off test, turn it on and try difference  between balance, quality and performance.

The red mp/s should get green at some point.

Your crashes might! be an indicator for a degrading cpu.

you are running it out of spec and with higher power and higher clocks it is damaging itself.

I have everything nicely in the green with the Ryzen 7 5800x and the RTX 3090 Ti 24GB. I have no idea what BF6 did, but I haven't been able to play BF6 for two weeks. I'm getting a lot of false performance in-game, it shows that my CPU is running above 116% while it's stable around 60/68%. The GPU is also doing its hours as it should. I can't do anything with this game anymore, I keep getting the 3 boxes low FPS problem, everything runs normally CPU and GPU, but I can't get more than 32 FPS, nothing is locked in terms of FPS. I can change whatever I want, but the game doesn't register any settings changes. They're making a real mess of it at the moment. My questions are also being ignored; they close the chats when I type the sentence about FPS problem, tickets are closed as solved, while they don't even leave a response. I reached level 516 in BF6, played for hours without problems and now suddenly this. You're not the only one with this problem. We can only hope for season 2 that they'll fix things like performance, but I'm worried that won't happen. Since so many questions on the forum are already being ignored, they'll surely do nothing about it and only focus on REDSEC problems. Many reports since the BETA test haven't been taken seriously.
