I've never had a problem with OBS and recording. Usually OBS Updates that will change some settings. And with the recent update around the end of July. Haven't had issues other than reconfiguring my Sources.

Hi, so, I tried reconfiguring my sources and it is way better now. But if I am with OBS opened, game running, screen captured, and I command Discord overlay, and right click on some friend on a voice channel to change its volume, is almost certain that OBS will loose hook. Maybe can you try that and check if it happens to you too?
