Plugging in a Controller on PC causes gun to constantly fire

Since 1.4.3.0, plugging in a controller to play Battlefield 6 on Steam no longer works properly.

Expected: Plugging in and beginning to use a controller swaps in-game input to controller, replacing on-screen glyphs with controller glyphs and allowing the game to be played normally on controller.

Actual: Plugging in a controller causes the player or vehicle weapon to fire constantly and causes on-screen glyphs to constantly flash between KBM and Controller.
