Try going into your EA account info on the help site, locate something that says download account info. click thru and when its ready, download it. then open the zip, and there will be an html file, open that, and expand the field related to account activity stuff. It might tell you something there.
Mine for some reason says "account_abuse" which makes NO sense. I play on one computer, and nothing is abusive about my account or behavior - I don't really interact with others at all. I am curious if you are experiencing the same because then at least we can provide a route to them resolving this.
I am hoping this is figured out because it's really disappointing.

Similar issue for me. Spent hours waiting on EA support for an answer and there was no solution. Played one game, changed profile name on Steam and EA while waiting to group up and haven't been able to get into the game since.
When I downloaded my EA data it had "BANNED_ACCOUNT_TAKEOVER" for status but EA support says there are no bans or penalties on my account and just wait for a solution.
Very frustrating.

Very. I expect there are a lot of false bans right now - what stinks is there seems to be little direct recourse since we cannot contact support...

mines say COMPETITIVE_ADVANTAGE but i dont know how. i wouldnt cheat and for sure not in a game i paid $100 for

Same here.
So they have falsely banned, and disabled refunds, and have killed avenues of support.
This is how class actions happen. They really gotta get on this and allow us some recourse to get these removed. I genuinely feel it's a mistake given EA itself shows no account flags. But that still doesn't re-enable my account...

Just updating: Still banned. Support is just giving canned responses and not actually investigating the issue or providing information. This is horrendous customer support. They aren't listening to the issue or explanation so that they can actually address whatever is bugging out things on their end.

I had to log out, open an incognito/private browser session and go through as a Guest - THEN it gave me live chat and email options.
Further Update: They still are refusing to investigate or unban, and not accepting any new cases from me. I am pursuing a refund and will just look to use all new accounts. Despicable behavior and entirely braindead support activity to not even aid. My account is 17 years old with no violations, no bad actions, nothing. But they won't do anything to fix this OBVIOUS error. Very frustrated by this and their lack of action and just canned responses.

same, my account is so old and i cant even get my money back cus i played single player for more than 2 hours... they told me it would take up to 10 days to hear anything back

hey i just thought about something, do any of you have a steam game ban (on any game)
since i had the same issue during the beta i was only able to play on the ea app
i have a year old r6 ban on my steam account so could that somehow be flagging the ea anticheat and causing this?

i have a Dayz ban but that shouldn't matter to EA, its not their game and it was 3 plus years ago and i played the beta just fine from my OG account.

anti cheats have a weird way of flagging, i got my r6 ban cus of a mw2019 client that it picked up on since battleye was on in the background.
Anyway im guessing its not that since you were able to play the beta, I wasnt able to play it so it must be something else. - MyLittleProny2 days agoSeasoned Novice

I think I could be due to deleting HD files of some sort, I am on PlayStation and those files are not done downloading and I am getting this message however I am not banned. I will come back and let you know if when they finish it is fixed.
