Recommended Troubleshooting
So get this, I have been missing the S1 Content Creator Twitch Drops since way back in December. I did everything right, linked my accounts, claimed them within 24hrs, etc. They show as claimed in my Twitch rewards. They never unlocked in game. So I hop on EA Help and follow the troubleshooting tips, wait 24hrs etc. Still nothing. I contact support but their AI filter and broken interface mean I can never reopen a ticket to respond messages from the "technical team". This goes on for two months. Finally I try relinking my Twitch account as it's also on the recommended troubleshooting list. Still nothing. Eventually they win and I get too annoyed to continue so I set it aside.
This brings us to today. I decided I was going to reopen my ticket 5 months later to see if anything had changed. The agent was relatively cordial but couldn't type, assuming they were even a person and not a poorly trained AI, and do you know what they say to me? Because you unlinked your Twitch account 5 months ago, all data from that account is gone, sorry 'bout your luck. Never mind that you have screenshots showing the rewards, and we are most definitely not at fault for telling you to follow the recommended troubleshooting steps. Also, no, we will not escalate this because we here at Live Support are the Highest Authority and the technical team of the game. Their words, not mine. They then disconnected me.
Another fine example of EA at its best.
