Red dot optic visibility

Almost all of the red dots in this game are bad, they are all either super dim and hard to track for no good reason or 40moa and cover an entire person at 100y. I have a cheap holosun red dot i can look at and see the dot while centered on a cars high beam. Red dots were fine in bf4 how has this gone backwards?
