Spatial Audio not recognized (3D Audio)

Tested both DTS and Dolby Atmos btw.

Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Windows Sonic all revert to 3D Headphones from Spatial Audio and then if you exit the game and launch it again, the Audio reverts to Stereo from 3D Headphones and says the same thing "Unsupported" or whatever. 

I've posted this on Reddit and on the discord and nobody pays any attention at all. 

Same issue here, it literally mentions Dolby Atmos in the game settings so why it doesn't recognise it is beyond me, this feels more like a beta right now. The beta felt like an Alpha and the real release feels like a Beta, hope this gets fixed soon.

Same issue. Actually I had never bothered with spatial audio before BF6 because I usually play on 5.1 speakers. 
I tried out Windows Sonic with my headset last night and BF6 let me turn on Spatial Audio no problem and it was pretty nice. I heard Atmos is better so I installed that and BF6 said unsupported format, reverted to 3d Headphones.... and now it's always Unsupported Format even if I use Windows Sonic... I can't get Spatial Audio back at all. Really sucks. 

Spatial Audio was recognized and working fine for me when all I had was Windows Sonic and had never installed Dolby or anything else. Now nothing works.

EA Please Help. I am using a Focusrite audio interface and can't use windows sonic or dolby atmos

I managed to fix the issue on my end!

The problem was caused by the Hands-Free Telephony option being enabled for my Bluetooth headset. Disabling it immediately fixed the sound quality and surround issues.

Here’s how I did it:

1. Press Win + R
2. Type or paste this command and press Enter:

shell:::{A8A91A66-3A7D-4424-8D24-04E180695C7A}

1. This opens the Devices and Printers window.
2. Right-click your Bluetooth headset → Properties.
3. Go to the Services tab.
4. Uncheck “Hands-Free Telephony”.
5. Click Apply and OK.

After doing this, Windows only uses the high-quality stereo mode, and surround sound in Battlefield 6 started working correctly.

nobody here is using bluetooth headphones. why are you posting an unrelated solution?

I just want Spatial Audio to work. I'm not using a Bluetooth headset. 

I think I found the issue here. Battlefield doesn't seems support 96kHz spatial audio, or they hard coded spatial audio must be 48kHz.  

And Windows Soinc for headphones only support 48kHz, that's why people switching to Windows Sonic and switch back to Dolby Atmos will fix the issue.
