Spatial Audio not recognized (3D Audio)

Can't activate spatial audio for some reason. The game is badly coded when it comes to device recognition, so it won't accept external audio interfaces.

One fix for some is to switch to windows sonic in windows, then select 3D audio in game and then you switch to Dolby or DTS. Not sure if it works with audio interfaces too. I need to do some testing.

  • I might have found a fix? I just accidentally had spatial audio of when launching the game, went into audio setting, tabbed out and enabled Dolby Atmos and now it looks like this (see pic). I can leave the audio setting and go back in and it's still enabled. Very weird. Hope this helps someone.

  • Same issue here, it literally mentions Dolby Atmos in the game settings so why it doesn't recognise it is beyond me, this feels more like a beta right now. The beta felt like an Alpha and the real release feels like a Beta, hope this gets fixed soon.

    Yea same thing here.

Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, Windows Sonic all revert to 3D Headphones from Spatial Audio and then if you exit the game and launch it again, the Audio reverts to Stereo from 3D Headphones and says the same thing "Unsupported" or whatever.

I've posted this on Reddit and on the discord and nobody pays any attention at all.
