When i press launch it just shows this screen and then closes itself no error message just closes. Does anyone know how i fix this? I have secure boot enabled

Spent an hr trying everything and this is what fixed the SPLASH SCREEN SILENT CRASH. right click game on steam->prop->DLC-> uncheck multiplayer HD marker and Multiplayer markerThis should clear a "game not released" 512MB in your download section of steam even though you can launch the game from lib.Now right click game->prop->installed files-> validate filesSteam then downloaded 8 files for me and it launches now!

Got clear that "game not released" thing, but still it won't launch on Steam.

Just out of curiosity: What CPU is everyone sporting who is having this issue, and on what operating system is this occurring? I want to see if there are any commonalities between different instances of this issue across users.For me, I run Windows 11 and have an Intel i9 14900k. I strongly suspect that EA's kernel level anti cheat is causing this problem, but I want to clear any suspicion that the CPU is contributing to this issue so it can be properly diagnosed.

just got mine working, i just used a different microsoft account with the same steam account and it worked for some reason. I think its a glitch with my ea games as i had to do the same for garden warfare 2 a while ago

So I found some interesting things. I noticed that whenever I click the play button on Steam is says "Running EAAntiCheatService.Installer.exe" and went into the BF6 location files. I found that exact .exe file and checked the entire BF6 download folder and could not find any executable for the actual EAAC, its only the installer. I then found that there is supposed to be several other files in there to actually run the EAAC. So I did some testing and check with Command Prompt. I queried it, ran it then queried it again and found that when the service runs it immediately quits again because its missing the other executables. When I was finally able to add in the other files and open BF6 it still kept closing after opening the initial screen. So I have a very high suspicion that EAAC is not downloading, installing and running correctly at all. I have tried all the solutions posted here and even added in the correctly installed AC files from another game to see if that worked and it did not. When I run the installer normally BF6 isn't even an option to install or repair.

So, I had to deal with this with open beta and also with previous Battlefield games. I don't know what causes it and WHY it is this way but the only way Ive gotten it to work is to make a completely separate user on your computer, DO NOT SIGN INTO A MICROSOFT ACCOUNT. For some UNGODLY reason there has been a string of cases where if you are linked to a microsoft account you will not be able to get past the splash screen. Literally f EA

Did a clean Windows 11 install, drivers, and everything, but still the same. Got only the EA's Splash Screen and then nothing, no errors.

Literally the exact same thing. I've got multiple EA games that ran and I could play with no issue, but at some point a few years ago just stopped launching altogether. Tried for ages to get to the bottom of it but could only spend so many hours and days troubleshooting and browsing through esoteric threads with no solution. Cut to now where after having no issues with BF2042 I was hoping it'd be the same with BF6 but no such luck. Well until just now where I tried launching it on another user account and it worked?? It IS a partial fix so thank you for that, but I'd still like to know how to resolve it completely so I don't have to use such a convoluted method to play shootyman game No.77 when I don't have this issue with any other games from any other company..

I had exactly the same, I fixed it by setting up windows defender right.
But whatever I do either it crashes or stays loading infinitely when trying to connect to any game mode.
I mean look at this 640x368 upscaled to 1280x720 and the game still manages to spike and crash!
Thank you EA! I don't know what to say steam says I've spend 5 hours in the game and these were not even gameplay.
Just me trying to enter the game. Early and Open beta was totally fine for me!

Got mine working by reinstalling the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 redistributable x64
