the game only counts the fps generated by the processor

Why was it that when I played the BF6 beta on Steam, I could achieve 500 fps, but now that the full version is out and I'm playing on the EA app, only CPU fps are counted, and it's 220-300 fps? When I run the in-game performance overlay, I see that the CPU is generating that much fps, ignoring the 350 fps generated by the graphics card. Why wasn't this the case on Steam, but it is on the EA app?
