I have this almost every single match, sometimes constantly, sometimes it goes away after a few seconds, but the game feels stuttery everytime that happens. FPS is locked to 125 and it stays cemented at 125.

I get latency errors and the black bar still. I noticed if I use public dns it happens more frequently, if I put my isp dns and quad9, opendns, or google dns with isp as primary and one of those three as secondary, I get better ping, and very rarely encounter the server icon error, but even after going defcon 5 with my isp, and threatening to file a fcc complaint, they have updated the entire infrastructure at this point, and I have the personal phone number of a NOC for my ISP. Pathing is showing me now that my one bad hop is fixed, and it is server sided. I have experimented with several windows, network, nic, and highly aggressive scripts to the registry. I have had to reformat my pc multiple times trying to solve it. My OS, TCP, NIC (hardwired) are optimized to the max I can go with perfect stability. I have a pretty high end pc, but still constantly get the black bar popping up with Lat Var being yellow 9 to orange. I’ve seen the yellow and red server warning. NOC dude called me today, my entire neighborhood infrastructure got updated, balanced and optimized, I can say with certainty now, it’s not on my end. I’m either getting randomly connected to wrong or bad servers, or something along those lines, because I have games that are amazing, I’ll exit for a smoke break, and when I return, I find the really terrible servers.

P.S. regarding hitreg, it is extremely inconsistent for me, I have been a esport gamer since before esport was a thing, I’m from the ancient days of LAN tournaments. Where it’s strange to me, it’s like one game hitreg is absolutely perfect and I am a wrecking machine, then next game, I’m seeing hit reg markers, but they are not connecting, to further explain, I play the exact same way everyday, some games are amazing and I am pretty sure netcode is working the way it is intended, but then next game same weapon, same attachments, same way I play, my guns aren’t doing damage. It makes no sense, and that paired with the random network issue notifications, I honestly believe, either servers or the netcode need some love, maybe both. Respectfully, SneakySpider. 

TITLE: Issues after attempting "Enable the Overlays" in EA_Leeuw's  topic posted on 2025-12-01

I did "Simple Performance Overview" and "Full Network Overlay." I turned it back because overlays cause the current status of the small gaming map on the screen to be unrecognizable. I did not apply the console command method "PerfOverlay.DrawFps 0." Rebooting the PC did not solve the symptom.

The issue arises as follows.

1.  Overlay graphic data remain displayed.
2.  In Japanese language mode, there is no "Network" in the Settings; instead, the contents are located under the name "System" in Japanese.

I assume the cause comes from the inconsistency and/or the lack of integrity of the programming content that the Japanese and English language modes hold. Otherwise, it implies simply that someone or something modifies those system dependency files.

For the resolution, I performed deleting "PROFSAVE" and "PROFSAVE_profile" in Documents > Battlefield 6 > settings folder and two cache files in the C:\Users\User name\AppData\Local\Battlefield 6\cache folder. Plus, I deleted EA's related prefetch files in C:\Windows\Prefetch with Command Prompt (the Admin Privilege) in the syntax del c:\Windows\prefetch\*.*/s/q.

I hope EA will fix this in the next update. There are more of the contradictions in the translation from the original English to Japanese.

When the entire game is rubberbanding on every map, every mode, why even post anything at all?

i cant even play non stop packet loss/rubber band  that with hit reg i really wish i could refund this game Shouldn't be worth $90 only thing i can play is redsec not as packet loss but since redsec came out is when the packet loss started

Recorded a clip including full networking and hit registration graph alongside system stats overlay. You can see the TN going through the roof and my client-side hits often not being recognized. I myself and other players are rubberbanding and shots aren't firing at times (listen closely when i'm firing).
All this with ~6ms ping through fiber internet, a i5 13600K, RTX 3060Ti, 24GB RAM and the game running on an NVME. CPU is running at 75-80°C and 4.6-4.7 GHz with 80-95% load, but fluctuating. Client location is Germany.
All graphics settings are turned to low except for texture quality and filtering. I also activated Frame Generation to gain a few more frames which gets me to around 100-130 FPS Avg.

Just seeing if they did a hot fix on this issue this morning? It was bad yesterday for the hit regs last night for sure! Had to turn it off.
