unable to join match with friends

so is EA going to address being unable to join multiplayer with friends, especially if you’re in the same household? we’re on PC and both computers are connected via ethernet cable.

we can join the lobby together, but only one of us will get pulled into the match, and it seems random. the other person’s character will stand up, act like they’re going into a game for a moment, but get stuck at the lobby screen while the other person is able to play. i’ve even tried changing the NAT type on our router to try to fix this.

i also can’t even get a refund for the game on steam because i’ve tried to troubleshoot this for 4 hours of playtime and it’s past the 2 hour refund mark. i only bought this game to play with friends, and also my fiancé who lives in the same house… never have had any multiplayer issues like this on any other game.
