Unplayable for weeks: EA Javelin Anticheat detected an unacceptable config

This is driving me crazy.... A couple of weeks ago I went to ply BF6 and got the following error:

EA Javelin Anticheat has detected an unacceptable configuration: Please ensure no cheat-related or tampering software is active and restart the game (0xB3829EB7DE50BDB7)

For the record I have never cheated on any game. I would rather not play the game than cheat.

I have follwed so many forum posts, but nothing helps.

Uninstalled my work VPN
Updated BIOS
Uninstalled Hyper-V
Stopped most aplications from running
Uninstalled a load of old apps
Updated my NVIDIA drivers

Why doesnt the error mesage let me know what it thinks the issue is?

What should I try next?

  • Just fixed the issue....

TPM2 was set to auto on my Gigabyte motherbaord. Setting this to 2 fixed the issue.

  • Also, I have uninstalled both Javelin and BF6 and reinstalled.
I am playing BF6 through steam and noticed a few other posts with similar issues from a few weeks ago.
