What's the point?

I'm done with this game, this franchise.

You make a fuss about hackers, and rightly so then give console bots aim assist that is basically aim bot.

Bad players, protected.

Console players, protected.

Players with a dial up connection on Mars, protected.

Basically everyone is protected except 21 year long veterans who was good enough to consistently be in the 5 star general lobbies on bf2. (Skill issue).

Fact 100% of the time I'm  shooting the enemy 3x more than they're shooting me, and I'm still in the top 2% for kills. (Skill issue)

The netcode is a fallacy, the desync is by design, the input delay/failure is also by design, the irregular mouse sensitivity is also by design.

Battlefield got me into online gaming and Battlefield has pushed me over the edge, I'm done, this game is just an unplayable mess 24/7/365.

To all the paid goons, trolls, and sausage goblins who incessantly cry Skill issue, you're absolutely right it is a Skill issue, just not the way you're implying the game doesn't let me utilise my skills, if the game actually worked I'm confident I would more than likely destroy you everyday of the week.

I have been pretty confused to why they are doing this. It literally feels like a punishment for being a skilled player and then you get sophomoric replies such as "get good". And the reality is, you're probably, I'm probably good, but we're being forced into a handicap so that everyone plays at the same level. It's like everything else in other facets in life, to stand out, to be skilled, is now a bad thing.

stilscratchin I hear you.  I may be a lot older than a lot of the players; like you I've been playing online since 2005 (and before that in single player too, as I didn't have internet).  Long gone are the days when skill actually meant something.  Now it's a combination of high ping, server lag, and console players with aim assist, and I get it; it happens me too - you shoot the guy square in the back, and get hit markers 5,..6,..7,..8.. and he's still alive, and he moves his gun...and you're dead with the first shot from his LMG and you're thinking ... what the actual %*&£!

Don't start me on netcode.  I was in Tsuru map the other day and got the drop on two snipers camping in different buildings on the dock beside A base.  The first guy is 6 metres away, and he started to turn so I emptied him with my silenced smg.  The second sniper in the next building hasn't heard the shots, and is still peering through the window, and I have a plain line of sight to him, about 15 metres away, and I fire a short burst of around 6 shots, only for everyone of them to hit an invisible wall !! Of course he hears the rounds hitting this wall, and turns, and before I can say 'Jack..' I'm dead with a headshot from his sniper rifle.

Or lying at the edge of a cliff, looking down at the enemy below at H base, and I take out my PSR with silencer and scope, and I see one guy on his own around the side, and I fire...but no hits...only to find out that the rounds I'm firing are again hitting an invisible edge of the cliff I'm lying on.

The maps are atrocious.  In all the series of Battlefield, in all the maps they've produced, they still cant seem to get the bullet to actually travel from the end of the gun; it seems it's actually starting from a point within the player.  I can't think why else a bullet would hit the ground with a clear line of sight...oh wait... we're back to those invisible walls again.  You know the ones when you're flying a chopper, and suddenly your heli is upside down, and you're out of control, wondering "did I get hit with a missile?"...No it's an invisible wall...

I think I'll be joining you shortly.  BF2 brought me to online FPS, BF6 will see me leave.

There it is, on a working server you probably wouldn't touch me,

If i shoot you 10-15 times and while I'm still shooting you, you turn and melt me instantly that's not you being good, that's the server protecting you from me.

If it really was a network issue it would effect us both, but it always favours one player over the other, and that player 9 times out of 10 is a low level, console player, high ping, or just some dude who hasn't got a clue how to play and forever has a negative kd.

I've been decimated by noobs and found them in the next match, same players but it was a working server, they didn't stand a chance when the game works for me, thats why the netcode exists because they want to sell battlepass and generate more money.
