Xbox timed out error

Need help, I suddenly cant play BF6 on my Xbox S, it worked fine for a month and now every time I try to join a match I get a few sec of blank screen(music in background) then BF6 logo then "Timed Out" error. I tried EA chat and all they did was recomend I look here. Sofar I have tried hard reset of console, reboot modem/router, called ISP and requested hard remove/reset on there end, deleted and reinstall game, hard reset on Xbox checked for updates and only install BF6.. same issue after each attempt.

We have 2 Xbox S consoles mine and my sons, he doesn't play BF but has a expansion drive so I put his drive in my Xbox and moved BF6 to drive and tried on mine again, same issue so I put drive in his Console,  signed in on my account and played fine for over an hour, signed in on his account and played fine also. So same internet connection, same download on same expansion drive or internal drive BF6 has stopped on my Xbox, I reinstalled BF2042 and it won't load a game, it goes back to main screen. Did EA block my MAC address?

  • DasBloody it sounds like the two Xboxes are fighting over network port 3074.

Do this on the Xbox that isn't working. The settings are under Xbox dashboard settings.

Go to Settings > General > Network settings > Advanced settings > Alternate port selection, then choose Manual and pick a different port from the list.

This will give each Xbox a different port number.
