Yellow icon meaning

I'm on Xbox Series X and constantly getting a yellow circle with an arrow and an x on it

Seems like my bullets aren't registering or something is off

It seems to be getting worse every day it's there popping up during every game

Is it my issue?

    This is the correct answer.

  • juedan2011 yellow circle with an arrow and an x on it is latency variation. Meaning you ping time to the game server is fluctuating.

You'll need to enable the network performance bar to see how much your ping is fluctuating. A latency variation (LAT VAR) of 10ms means your ping is fluctuating between 20ms and 30ms, for example.

    (30ms - 20ms = 10ms latency variation)

How to enable the Network Performance Bar.

  • I have this constantly in almost every match, during most of the match duration, despite having a constand 27ms Ping. This symbol normally indicates high latency or latency variation.

The servers and the netcode are just BAD.
