I have game crashes in Battlefield 6 with the error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG
System features:

- 32GB of RAM (DDR5)
- MSI Tomahawk B650
- Radeon 9060XT (16bg) Power Color
- Samsung Evo M2 (for the OS)
- Samsung Evo DDR (for the game)
- 750W Corsair
System config:
- Windows11 25H2
- Game run in an account with no admin rights
- User access control is enalbed to the highest level of protection.
- Game was adquired through Steam and Steam is required to work.
- Other backgroun apps: Epos Connect, AMD adrenalin, Kaspersky premium
- I also have Ryzen Master but it is not launched generally while playing
- Installation of adrenaline 25.9.2 was done over 25.9.1 with no clean install.
- PC runs without XMP profiles enabled and no overclock.
- Graphic settings are in medium with all the effects features at minimum. I have no AMD's proprietary technologies like anti-lag enabled (both in game or adrenaline).
Reproductibility of the issue:
After upgrading the software, problem remain latent for 2 days.
At the third day, the problem manifest by:
- first game image freezes
- then, screen goes black
- system recovers by closing the game, going back to the desktop with the error message
I tryed to replicate the issue in other game Age of Empires IV, not being able to achieve such thing.
Update (14:58 - 19/10/2025): I've reinstalled adrenaline in 25.9.2 after uninstalling amd adrenaline using amd uninstall tool (in safe mode). Then I reinstalled the drivers as usual. For the record, AMD Ryzen Master was not launched after the reinstall of the drivers. The error appeared after 2 hours of gameplay.
Error Message:
DirectX function "GetDeviceRemoveReason" failed with DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG ('The GPU will not respond to more commands'). This error is usually caused by the graphics driver crashing; try installing the latest drivers.
