100% kill zones ever going to be implemented or expanded?

I've been playing BF for as long as the series has been out(except 1943 and 2142, some things weren't always good idea's), and have noticed one thing in particular... which it doesn't just pertain to BF alone.  Kill zones of explosives... That's right gents, you know who I'm talking about.  Those crazies that run up  on tanks, run a ton of C-4 and stand ohhhhh... 3 feet from the track and BOOM, you die, he walks away unscathed.  It drives me nuts too.  So the question is this.

Is there a killzone for explosives that even the attacker(placer/thrower/shooter/etc.) will have?  Even if it requires doing some research for actual blast radius/killzones of the different types of explosions that can take place in the game.  I know within 5m of just about any frag grenade, certain death is about 99% going to be the case.  An RPG?  7m if I remember right.  It's been a few years since I've had one shot at me or my troops.  C-4?  Well, that's a different animal... mind you, enough to take out a tank?  Easily 10m(30ft. for you non-converting folk.)  Not 3-5ft.  The point blank RPG and GL scrubs?  Yep, they should die along with you if they hit you within that 3-5m area.  Which almost all of them will be in some of the closer quarters maps.  Mind you, there will be some damage negation with the further ranges... but in that circle of death, both parties need to go down, not just the defending side.  If I walked into a room in Iraq/Afghanistan and dropped a grenade, it will kill the bad guys AND me... not just them because it did damage to it's intended target(not me)... we both catch it.  I do know it's a game, but some things have to be on point to make it that much better.  I know A LOT of people will cry about not being able to point blank their M320's anymore, but honestly... a 40mm grenade won't blow up that close for one, and even if it did, it would kill you too, not just me.  Get some dev's on this madness please.

I think the effective damage zones of explosives are as they are for game mechanics purposes. It's already scary enough sneaking up on a tank to C4 them, adding a few seconds before reaching safety just makes it that bit more dangerous. It's also worth pointing out that your poor, wearied BF soldier man constantly walks away from stuff they definitely wouldn't in the real world. :D

Anyway, for specific gameplay feedback (a "realistic explosion radius" mode would be interesting), you're better off posting it over on Battlelog.

    Cheers.
