A quick guide to Battlepacks.

We have noticed some players reporting issues with disappearing or unusable items from Battlepacks, and this post is to clear up any confusion with the various unlockables.

I'll be using my currently-unused EA_David account, but you'll likely have more on your individual accounts.

You can check your previously unlocked and unopened Packs on the Battlepack page: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/soldier/EA_David/battlepacks/791989511/pc/

For knives, attachments, scopes and so on, you can click on the item on this page, and it will bring you to the corresponding weapon. For example if you click on my M416 GREEN LASER SIGHT it will bring you to the M416 page. I'll be able to attach this sight when I level my Assault Rifles enough to access the M416.

Other customization options include:

Dogtags, which will show as an option for the Right dogtag.

Paints, which are applied to equipment through the loadout menu in a similar manner to weapon attachments.

Camos are applied in-game. From the spawn screen choose Customize(below the spawn cam) and there should be an option by your faction's flag. Note that camos are faction-specific.

Emblem components, which can be used in crafting of custom emblems. To create an emblem, return to your soldier's main page, mouseover the picture, and choose CustomIze Emblem.

Extra portraits are also available, to change this click Customize Soldier Portrait, and then click the portrait thumbnail. You can also add clan tags on this page.

Finally, boosts can be activated through the start/esc menu in-game.
