A Very Common Issue with Multiplayer Games These Days.
Now, this is not a problem that happens only in Battlefield but also in other fps franchises.. and it's that matches, let's face it, are way too unbalanced if you ask me in terms of rookies vs veterans, needless to say what's the outcome of that situation: pubstompers, chat rants, hatred in general and off course.. way too much frustration from a product that's supposed to make you feel joy and have you entertained.
I've felt several times after a match that.. I ain't wanna play this game anymore, and trust me.. only Battlefield gives me that awful sensation.. and offcourse, the fanboys and the veterans will come to shut me up by telling me to "git gud", play more and all of that crap.. but here's the thing, guys.. Not everybody wants to become a pro player.. and according to ya, unless we become pro we won't have any fun? No way! There are also the hypocrites who would ask me: "dude, if you ain't take this game seriously, what d'ya care if you lose?" and I wanna ask this to some of these mind-deaf beings: whether if you take something serious or not.. do you find any fun in losing on it over and over and over again? Only a crazy person wouldnt feel any frustration from that.. Every person has the need of some sense of achievement.. and I know this is a competitive game, but hey.. as far as I know.. in sports there are different leagues according to team levels.. you wouldnt arrange a match of a local college baseball team against the yankees, would ya?
My point, there should be some sort of ranked level matches.. where every match would be only with users on similar levels.. similar statistics and then matches would be way more balanced, where everybody has the same amount of chances of killing enemies, etc.. I know veterans would give me the same crap that "No, you have to play against better people so u can get better", but here's the thing.. I don't, I don't wanna get better.. this is a videogame, not a combat simulator in a recruitment office, I just wanna have fun after a long day at work, and guess what? Since I paid for that game too.. my opinion counts.. whether you like it or not..
People talk trash about SBMM but hey.. for me at least, matches are way more fun when a system like that controls wich users are in the game.. like all the matches I've had in Titanfall 2, and that's a game I've played way less than Battlefield.. the thing with veterans against SBMM is just a vulgar display of hipocrisy cuz.. they say we the rookies have to play against better players to improve.. but when they have to play against people as good as they are... suddenly matches are unfair.. they nag us cuz we want easy chilled matches, but they actually want the same.. the argument of most of the anti SBMM users is: "nah, man.. cuz it's not cool that you have to sweat every match, bla bla bla".. and hey, tryhards.. that's exactly what we the rookies have to go through everytime you come to our matches to ruin the fun.. you give us the "git gud"? I give you the "get bettah".
P.S.: And for the smartasses who'll try to shut me up with the easy "if you don't like it, don't play it" crap.. No, I like this game.. what I hate is its bully community who loves to take advantage on the new players, people that can brag all day long how awesome they are etc.. but the thing with these pitiful beings is that.. mastering this game is probably the only good thing of their lives.. and I take no orders from people that I don't know, who don't pay my bills and specially people who have no respect for the community.. You're great at the game? Congratulations.. but u don't have to be arrogant and annoying in order to show ur supremacy.. stay humble, and stay away from our matches.
