What is awful is that 32 people on a team in conquest often can't manage to control more than one flag out of 7 on the map at a time because squad leaders aren't leading. Squad members aren't following orders if they are there, and people on the team are all stuck at one place in the map playing team death match with no objective control which turns into a crappy 17 to 20 minute conquest map with no chance to win that I don't want to be a part of.
@Skill4ReelMost are playing for Kills and XP. They don't care about winning. You gain more XP from capping than you do for defense. Thus circle *. Take flag, leave flag, go to next. It's an endless loop of XP.
Oldschool we'd cap 3/5 or 4/7 flags, get the burn going, and then defend. This forced the other team to attack. This generally resulted in a huge long fight in the center of the map. Occasionally they'd try a back cap flank.
