Aim Assist Battlefield 1 (PC)?

I was just wondering if anyone knew if Battlefield 1 (PC) has aim assist for controllers. I understand the reasons people may hate aim assist on pc and I agree that keyboard and mouse are better/ more accurate. However, I have always used console and recently switched to pc and have not been gaming on a pc long enough to be able to compete with other people using keyboard/mouse in multiplayer. For now I still need aim assist on controllers and do not want to spend  $60+ on a game that I cannot even enjoy (like I did with star wars battlefront).
