So I've been in them before but do I need to sign up? I really want to be part of alpha on battlefield 6. I can even bring feedback And bugs to your attention. I assume I should get a key because I've tested many battlefield titles. Am I right or should I be looking out for that? Hit your boy with a early key doot doot doot.

For everyone jumping in this thread because they might be looking to get a key. Please notice that no one has ever gotten a key by asking to get one on this forum - all you can get is friendly fellow gamers telling you to go somewhere else.

During past Alpha tests there was no way to sign up to Alpha trials.During past Alpha trials, It has been invite only via e:mail and I can only say that as I've been in BF3, BF1 and BFV Alpha tests.This was the case for the BF3 Alpha, BF4 Alpha, BF1 and BFV Alpha trials also though this may have changed with the playtesting sign up area added to the account settings page.Just supposing there is an Alpha to come of the next title, There will usually be a non-disclosure agreement ( NDA ) that you have to adhere to when taking part.There will be certain things you cannot do..Some of the things covered are : No streamingNo sharing content ( screenshots for example ) outside of specifically designated areas where access is only available to those in the testNo recording of contentAnd a few others specific to the NDA at the time.I'm not sure if the playtesting sign up page from your account page will guarantee access, It would probably help though.

They're usually open to everyone who wants in. Just keep an eye out for when the announcements and you'll more than likely get in.

I'm not sure about alpha access, they already have a huge team working on it and select people are also playing it right now, so closed alpha sign ups might not happen for the public.

As for the beta, just as Noodle mentioned there is usually a beta closer to release so possibly september/october time if it's a closed beta, an open beta would be right next to release I'd say.

How is it a bait and switch? I’ve played every beta going since BFBC2 and as far as I’m aware they are usually far worse than their release build. If BF3 is anything to go by I’m surprised anyone purchased that game on release as the beta was possibly one of the worst I’ve ever known in any FPS game.

Every since open betas became a thing Battlefield games have had them. I would not worry.
