How long will it be free? I can't download origin on my laptop and my computer is at my house that's been flooded from sandy so it'll be awhile before I can get back down there

How you ever said, there's some veteran players who bought the game in the past. I'm one of them, and for 10 years we still playing this awesome game, and made a community, with clans, league, (http://www.bf-league.eu/).

Before this game become free, we had 2 versions of battlefield 1942 on multiplayer, 1.6, and 1.61b.

We run our servers on 1.61b version, for clanwars, and public too.

But the new version of battlefield, and of EA's 1942 servers are in 1.612 version !

If we get the new version, we can't play anymore at 1.6 and 1.61b (we have a patchswitcher between there two versions).

So, can we have a patch wich works on 1.61b and 1.612 ? it will be cool for all, new players, to visit us, and for veterans !

donwload this and start to play, should give  to us in bf3 game the "dogtag Battlefield 1943", when i play bf3 after start to play this game appear a information about this dogtag, but for my surprise wasnt in my collection of dogtag! why?

No you wll not receive the Battlefield 1943 dog tag from playing this game ecause Battlefield 1943 is a completely different console based game than Battlefied 1942 which is a PC game and different title. Battlefield 1942 does not have a dog tag on battlelog.

Great! I wish that you could make battlefield 2142 free too xD you wouldn't make any money from it anymore, just so that people play it.
