Assignments for weapon unlocks

I was curious to see if there was any way a player would be able to gain access to certain weapons that are locked behind assignments that you can no longer find active servers for. Some examples are the JNG 90 which requires you to play conquest domination and the L85A2 which requires you to play rounds of squad death match. I highly doubt there is a way to get around the assignments but I thought I'd check anyway.
