battlefeild 3/ Medal of Honor Warfighter controller help

hi I have battlefield 3/Medal of Honor Warfighter running on my alienware aurora r4 alx running windows 8 gtx660 gpu 8gb ram the game works great apart from the fact my game controller function dosent work with either games but my controller works fine with all my other game I have on pc ive tried using  original microsoft wired xbox 360 controller  and original microsoft wireless xbox 360 controller and with my controllers working fine with over 38 other pc games on this computer it would indicate its the games battlefield 3/Medal of Honor Warfighter that's the problem and after seeing on line that a large amout of other pc players can use a controller help please
