@Bronzeaxe i've also noticed this issue on PS4 (rarely).
It's something we can't help you to fix here through the forum, but maybe @EA_Atic or someone can forward this to the Team.
Ps: Going on a AA or any stationary Weapon, or hop on a Horse should be able to fix it tho. 😉

I have sent this on to the team. I had this issue my self on and off, its super annoying I normally call it the DOOM bug.

At least there is a DOOM reload animation EE for the Sawed Off Shotgun.
I have had this happen 10x in 2000 hrs BF1 gameplay.
It is a well known bug before you couldnt shoot and DICE patched it and left us with this little bug instead.
I just go for some melee kills when this happens and know that once i respawn it will be gone.
