Battlefield 1 Can't Join Multiplayer Match

1) the matchmaking process starts off fine.. the game is able to connect me with other players, maps etc.

I am really sorry for those troubles with the game. Try these troubleshooting steps first, to clear any problems you might have, connecting with Battlefield 1. Keep us posted on your progress.
