I had a similar issue. Tried contacting the EA Help desk and after the same low level troubleshooting thats already been suggested, they recommended I post on the forums. Absolutely insane.

This appears to be a complex technical issue regarding EA app synchronization, so we recommend contacting the EA Help Desk again, clearly stating that all basic steps have failed, and requesting that they escalate the issue to the technical team.
