Battlefield 1 randomly closes after a few minutes

Hey guys so when I bought the game I was able to play the single player campaign for 3 hours straight no issues.

Then I tried MP I was able to finish two whole operation matches start to finish. But later on the game suddenly shuts down, like it was closed properly no BF1.exe stopped responding message from windows. At first I thought maybe because I was in an intense firefight and there was a lot of stuff exploding around me. 

But I tried SP again and I can't even play for 5 whole minutes without the game suddenly closing.

Core i5 2400 @ 3.1ghz

8gb Ram

AMD R9 290 Driver Version: 16.10.2

I think the driver update made things worse. Cause I was able to play 3 hours straight pre-update, after I updated my drivers the game closes after 5 minutes in.
