Battlefield 1 Sound Issues

Hi everyone,

Recently I downloaded Battlefield 1 and I've been having some sound issues with the game. Sometimes when I launch the game I get this crackling sound either in the menu or while I'm gaming. I have tried everything from uninstalling sound drivers and reinstalling them. I even moved the settings file from the battlefield folder in documents to desktop. I know its not my headphones or my laptop's sound driver issues because sound works perfectly during other games or when I am watching videos. Does anyone know a fix? I have tried almost everything I found on the internet.

    Hey @npsick,

    Welcome.

Do you maybe know which sound drivers you have installed? Are this the latest Realtek drivers, or have you installed any other drivers?

The drivers that you need are the Realtek HD Audio Drivers.

Hey the sound drivers on my laptop are as follows:

    7.1 Surround Sound

    Intel(R) Display Audio

NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)

    Razer Audio Controller - Chat

    Razer Audio Controller - Game

    Realtek(R) Audio

    THX Spatial - Synapse

I'll search up some Realtek drivers and download them but I think I have all the necessary drivers./
