I'm having some stutters as well. I think they got introduced with the last update of EA App last Tuesday.
The same stutters happen in BF V and BF 2042.
I also notice CPU fan going a bit more wild since the last EA App update.
Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
Same here . It's literally the anticheat being broken . It's EA so them breaking a perfectly fine game seems on par . Unplayable and we won't get a fix ever . So refund time it is i think .
It won't ever be fixed . They will just break other things if they try and they know it .
Anticheat has completely broken bf1 for me . Unplayable stutters and freezes . 120fps normally now I'm getting 50 with drops down to 5 . I'm not at all surprised really considering EA basically break everything they touch .

I got same issue with random stuttering in any random situation or when I face to face with enemy.. Just after anti cheat released
I just play this game for several years, nothing wrong happens, and just for now this is random heavy stuttering happened. Exactly same here, crazy stutters / input lag for the past 2 weeks or so.
Someone on the Steam forums pointed out that in the game directory you can find the EAAnticheat folder which contains two executables - run either of them, or both - select the option to "repair" (you'll be asked to select the game's directory) - wait for it to finish, that's done. This doesn't fix the problem entirely, but improves the stuttering & inputlag somewhat.
Keep in mind that you might need to repair the anticheat before every launch of the game as the effect seems to be wavering after subsequent launches.
This is the best I've got so far. Someone also pointed out that you can update the anticheat in these programs but it didn't do anything for me personally.Battlefield 1 players are experiencing significant performance issues due to recent anti-cheat updates. Try updating drivers, verifying game files, adjusting settings, and disabling overlays. If the problem persists, contact EA Support or the Battlefield 1 community for further assistance.
- Same thing happening with me. Started exaclty after the Anti Cheat update. My specs are 5800X3D, 6800 XT and 32gb, my PC souldn't have stutters like these in a 8 year old game. It is actually disgusting to play the game right now, a lot of stutters, none of my components are ruinng near 100% usage. Thanks for ruining my favorite game, EA.
