First of all, my computer specs are ; i5 6500, Gtx 1060 6gb, 16 gb 2133 mhz ram and the game is installed on a ssd.My problem is after the latest UI update, I experience heavy fps drops and therefore stutters. Before the update I've had times that my fps dipped but they were so occasional, now it's every single game and my game has came to a state that it's literally unplayable. I have tried lowering the graphical settings but they don't seem to help that much, what am I supposed to do ?Sorry for bad english.

Hey @SCARFAC3E,Hmm okey, which DirectX are you running on(DX11 or DX12) if you run DX12 please try to switch it to DX11: Go to Documents - Battlefield 1 - settings - PROFSAVE_profile. Open with notepad. Ctrl-f and search for "dx12enabled". Change the value listed from 1 to 0. Save and start Battlefield. But if that's the case, how is that my cpu handled the game very good at even ultra settings and had no issues until that June update ? Or so other peoples cpus ? As I said I tried lowering the graphics, it doesn't seem to help much. Can you write down the cpu intensive graphics settings if you know so I can set them to very low.I am using the Windows 10 64-bit Pro version and I haven't installed the creators update. My game is running at DX11 (DX12 has way worse stuttering)I will try what you did on the cfg file but I don't think it will work since I play with vsync on (if I turn off vsync the screen tearing becomes worse than anything, since I have a 60hz display)I think EA just effed up something about the game optimization (willingly or not I don't know.)

Simply put since the last UI update (not the June update), Myself and a few friends have been experiencing large FPS drops from stable 60fps to the low 30's sometimes even 20's. This is over several different CPU's, GPU's over both 1080 and 1440 resolutions. This is also over different brands of cpu's and gpu's aswell from Intel,AMD and Nividia. Temp's are not the problem as 2 systems are watercooled and 1 is aircooled stock speeds. This is making the game unplayable, Both nividia user's are using different drivers from each other, all non essential task's are closed and yet the issue is still there. Also note that this problem was not there @ the June or before updates but only since the latest UI update.All systems are running DX11, 2 systems have the game installed on a ssd the 3rd one doesn't. This is not a problem with our systems or driver problems but a problem with the game.

You can see how your CPU rates against the minimum required CPU here: http://cpuboss.com/cpus/Intel-Core-i5-6600K-vs-Intel-Core-i5-6500 You also might want to drop your graphics settings, your GPU may be able to handle it but your CPU being just below the minimum probably can't keep up with higher graphics settings. That being said, what OS are you running? If on Win10 are you using DX11 or12, and did you install the creator's update? Recently I limited my FPS to 61 in my user.cfg and it really evened out the CPU spikes and sporadic FPS drops so that may benefit your game performance. My rig is the same as yours except that my processor is an i7 3770.

I have 1080 Ti with around 1970 Mhz, 8700k @ 4,8 Ghz all cores, 16 GB DDR4 Ram with 3000 Mhz and Nvidia Settings at Max Power Mode for BF1. Also I have only 30-40 Background processes at Windows, so my System is completely optimized.
I Play at 1440p with all Ultra Settings and I get average About 130 fps which would be normally fine, but sometimes I get massive fps Drops and also stuttering. At Amiens only 100 fps, dont know if normal. But yeah, in General often fps Drops and stuttering, probably since last update, I don´t know.
I could Play with low or medium Settings to get less Drops but I want the best graphics I can have. Also if I Play with medium Settings Amiens is still under 120 fps I think.

I just think it is not a hardware issue, Battlefield 1 has now serious fps drops problems and Dice needs to push another update to fix this.

Same problem, i5-4670k here. And you know whats really funny? Sometimes the whole day i have perfect stable locked 70 fps. But on the next day i have 40-60 and 100% cpu load. I swear this is not the first time this happens. I noticed that so many times, like one day i have perfect 70 fps without any drops and next day i have terrible fps dropping down to 30. DICE says upgrade your cpu. BUT YOUR GAME WORKED JUST FINE 3 DAYS AGO AND TODAY ITS LAGGING. It's definately some issue with the game not with our cpus. And dice probably will never fix, because there is not so many people playingon weak cpus, so i guess i have to go to BF4 and thank you dice for great optimisation.

It happens to me too i have i5 6400 and 1050ti gygabite used to run it on ultra-high on 60 stable fps with very very very minor 3 fps drops and now i cant even run iit on low because i cant even touch a stable 50 fps mark this is foing absolutely * i want a * refund or a fix for this.
And to make it even worse the bf5 alfa runned 60 stable on low this issue is just ridiculous EA i want to play this freaking game but u dont even let me do it.
I made it to 60 fps on medium config on gians shadow and i had to open the pc case cuz my grafic card was getting too hot like 72 degrees it usually doesnt go over 70 but yeah its a problem from the game maps dice pls fix im gonna play giant shadow till they fix this

Run all medium without effects (anti analisin,hbo) and then it will give u 60 stable

I have about the same setup and I'm getting way worse frames than you, on ultra 1440p settings 60-120fps, it stays somewhat stable for a second(about 100fps) and then stutters to 60-70 with massive lag and it keeps happening again and again..
Really frustrating.
But one thing I wonder is that if I drop resolution to 1920x1080, my frames get even worse! 50-90fps..

No matter if I use DX11 or DX 12, same results
Temps under control
Tried fixing the game on Origin, no results
This isnt normal, am I doing something wrong or? Can anyone help?

I ran ccleaner, no effect. It seems that the stuttering was fixed by emptying standby memory, it seems to be filling to the max on ram. I also used Screen Timer to adjust screens timing to 0,5 as it seems that newest windows update is causing trouble to many. But still strugling with low fps at 2k, and still drops more if I drop resolution to 1920x1080.

I'm also experiencing these FPS drops. A year ago this game worked flawlessly, even a few months ago too. I recently played it again and I get these horrible FPS drops which make the game unplayable. Now my PC isn't exactly a beast by any means but I was playing this game fine on the highest settings. I tried playing on low and it still happens. The issue is with the game or the drivers not the hardware at this point. I verified the game twice, hell, I even reinstalled Windows completely and it still happens. My friend who has the same specs as me albeit the GPU (He has an AMD GPU) it doesn't happen to him which makes me think either something wrong with the game or the drivers. Although I can play every other game on the highest settings just fine.
