Battlefield 1, wont load, blank screen with Music

Started playing BF1 last night, everything worked fine. Today i try and boot it up, and during the loading process, the white circle stops spinning and freezes. It continues to load with a blan...

    I solved the issue

    Its the in-game origins (the shift F1 access while in game).

    You have to disable it via Origins app.

    Click on the game in the app, hit settings, game properties, and disable in game Origins.

    What it is : When you launch the game, when origins does its little "hit shift f1 to for access i game", it locks up.

    I have no issues playing at the moment, and still have a working friends list in game.

    Yay stupid programming.

Upon further testing :

Turning off DX12, down to DX 11, and putting resolution down to 100%, from 125% fixes all problems.

Then you can re-enable in-game Origins via the settings with no blank screen issues.

To fix go to C:\Users\username\Documents\Battlefield 1\settings Delete all the profiles and load game. You will have to change all settings and loadouts again but you can play the game.
