One thing that helped me (and I just got off the horn w/EA) is if you feel like you have a good key code say for a retail game and you would like to activate it on Origin and it accepts it, just delete all your (BF 2142) game files and if you have CCleaner run the registry cleaner after uninstalling then go to your main or local drive (usually C:/) go to Program Data find the Origin folder and delete the whole thing. Then install the game in Origin. I had activated my game using the Origin activation but it still wouldn't work so I deleted it totally (even scrubbing it from the regedit) then downloaded it to my pc (not Origin) did the 1.5 & 1.51 updater and it still didn't work. So this go around I contacted EA help got em on the horn (phone) and they went ahead and assigned another key code but the old Origin file was hanging up the install in My Games. Deleted the above mentioned file and vola it worked. I was mistakenly told that the game now runs through Pogo but was told just a few minutes ago that that is NOT the case; Pogo can not be linked to Origin as of this writing and that is straight from the horses mouth. Hope this helps.
