Battlefield 2142 Northern Strike: Cannot get to work.

I have the original DVD of Battlefield 2142, and I later purchased Northern Strike off of EA (So I have it on Origin). Unfortunately, I don't know how to get them to work together so I can play the game and I can't seem to find a solution online.
