  • Battlefield 3 requires either a Nvidia or AMD graphics card of appropriate model. It seems like you are trying to play with an Intel graphics solution which is not supported.

Please accept solutions if they are correct and press the XP button if somebody helped you. This way you help others in the same situation.

    Cheers

I have NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX and Direct X 10.0 and I have the same problem, that is  "Failed creating D3D device of at least version 10.0 on the adapter

(NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX with driver 30783 error is DXI_ERROR_UNSUPPORTED ("Unsupported.")

This is typically caused by not having the minimum required Direct X support in the GPU.

For NVIDIA GPUs Direct X 10.0 support is required.

According to my system I already have Direct X 10.0 in fact I have DirexctX 11.0 so why the problem? Please advise or refund my money and take your game back or I will sue you.

Are you able to play the game now?

what did you do to fix this?

I am getting this error for NFS the Run. I know it worked on my system because i finished the game when I first bought it, now I just want to play again and the stupid game will not load due to the exact same error.

    Thanks,

    Manish

All Geforce 7x00 series models only support DirectX 9.0c, that's why you are seeing this error message.

This message thread is for the BF3 game, and your question is about NFS instead.  You are Off Topic here.
