Hello,
I recently built a new computer with Windows 10 installed. Sometimes I get lucky and can play a round of two without issues. But since the start I have had Battlefield 3, 4, and Hardline do crashes saying that it has stopped working, etc. I'm fairly new to the PC world and been away for a few years but tried to make sure I had all drivers updated, etc. Tried do the repair on each game and running as administrator. I am curious at this point if I should bite the bullet and find a copy of Windows 7 to use as my OS. Any suggestions on how though I may enjoy these games on Windows 10? Thank you much
I run BF3\4 and even HL fine on two WIN10 machines so I don't think you'll need to roll back to Win7. What are your PC specs, are you using any third party programs such as Raptr (specically the Plays.tv portion of Raptr), Razer Cortex, or MSI afterburner since those programs are known to cause issues?
PC specs:
Windows 10 64 Bit Home
CPU: Intel 6600K
Motherboard: Asus ROG Maximus VIII Ranger motherboard
Memory: 16 GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DD4 memory
Boot drive: Kingston 120 GB SSDNow V300 series
Storage: 2TB Seagate Barracuda 7200 RPM
Video Card: MSI GeForce GTX 1070
Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 750 Watt
Not currently using any apps. I was using Asus AI Suite 3 for an overclock but have already reset that to normal settings it came with from the bios.
