Battlefield 3 directx function getdeviceremovedreason error
So when i start up BF3 i get this Error message saying directx function "getdeviceremovedreason" badly formed commands : "gtx 660" Driver : 320.
Things i have done :
Reinstalled drivers and rolled back the drivers.
Reinstalled the game
Reinstalled Direct X
Reinstalled windows itself. ( basically wiped my whole hard drive)
Ran as administrator
Reinstalled Origin
BIOS is up to date
Video card drivers are up to date.
--------------------------------------------------
Things that might answer " answers " :
It is not the video card because it was getting the error on my old video card. ( i upgraded to the gtx 660 2gb )
This error just randomly started happening. It worked fine for about a week or two.

As you changed your hardware it could be related to your graphic driver build. Did you tried older or even the Nvidia beta drivers? Check that you have the latest version of the Nvidia physx driver.
Even if your system should be totally fine running BF3, go to your custom settings of your video-card software and disable all extra options for enhanced graphics and set the preferences for AA and anisotropic to “use application settings”.
Launch the game, if the issue is solved, you can try to set the graphic options higher step by step. Some graphic setups or boosts from your driver can cause trouble with the gamecilent.
Sometimes, this issue can be related to the cloud storage.
Open your Origin client, click on “Show Game Details”. Then you go to the cloud button on BF3 and uncheck the “enable cloud storage for all games” box. Launch the game.
If that helped, you can try to enable the cloud storage after a restart; it might work after with the cloud storage function. Make sure to use the local data when the information box popping up.Cheers
