Battlefield 3 download gets to 98% then goes back to 96% over and over and never completes

I am having a lot of trouble downloading BF3. It gets to 98% complete then fails and starts over at 96%. This has went on for several hours - I just cant get the last part of the download so that I can install it. I am thinking that it is failing on D:\Games\Battlefield 3\Update\Xpack1\Data\Win32\Levels\XP1_001\XP1_001.sb as that seems to be the file that keeps changing sizes. I am not sure what other info I need to provide. I am running the latest version of Origin from D:\Games\Origin and attempting to install BF3 to D:\Games\Battlefield 3

Thanks for the reply Rumbutter, though I ended up having to do something else to get it fixed.

I looked at the Client_Log.txt in C:\ProgramData\Origin\Logs and saw that it was failing at the file Update/Xpack1/Data/Win32/Levels/XP1_001/XP1_001.sb. I deleted the file and the stream file in that directory and it worked after that.

Received error from the http channel: The download session received an http server error with code [408]

Request error: Update/Xpack1/Data/Win32/Levels/XP1_001/XP1_001.sb Error: The download session received an http server error

File needs to be redownloaded: Update/Xpack1/Data/Win32/Levels/XP1_001/XP1_001.sb

Launch Origin and log in with your account

    - Click Origin in the top left (main menu)

    - Select Application Settings

    - From General tab, scroll down to "Update to the beta version if available" and tick the checkbox

    - Restart Origin

also another thing to try is this   If that doesn’t help close the origin client and go directly to you origin folder  C:\Program Files\Origin Games. Run the origin.exe in this folder with a rightclick -> run as administrator
