battlefield 3 for ps3 comrades train fight issue

when the mission scene starts i walk up the steps to the train tracks then the guy ambushes you, then there are button seqeuences to press to defend yourself, i dont think it works because everytime...

Meanwhile it´s 2021 and I´m also confronted with the same issue as "bjrugg". This guy seems instoppable. Could it be a program error or a bug?

I play the game using a PC instead of a PS3 but the problem is the same. Kind regards, Mathias
