After I log in to Origin and press quick match, I always get BF3 has stopped working the first time. When I press again, it usually works the second or 3rd time.
I tried several fixes from other posts but none worked. What is weird is that it works after several attempts even if it is the same server..
Any idea why this is happening?

Sounds like a software problem.. Have you you tried to reinstall/repair Battlefield 3? Also, try to launch the game from the desktop/battlelog or Origin.
If you are using "Cloud Save" function, disable it and it should work.
Try/check this and report back here again for further assistance.

I have Cloud Save already disabled.
I usually go on Origin and click play battlefield and start a quick match from the browser. Already tried to repair but it did nothing

I always found it weird that when I press on the BF3 shortcut (which is a shortcut for the BF3 exe in program files it takes me to origin.
How do I launch the game direclty from the desktop?

Right click on the desktop shortcut for Origin,
go to properties > compatibility tab > check off run as administrator > apply.
Restart Origin as well your PC and try again and let us know what happens.
Also. Try this:
Go to settings in origin, then scroll down,
1) Uncheck use Cloud Storage for all games.
2) Delete settings folder in C:/Users/your name/My documents/Battlefield 3 (you can make a copy to save in case).
3) It should now work.

I deleted the folder from my documents and added run as administrator but I still get the same error

This is getting ridiculous.. I can't play a single game.. I always get the crash or disconnected from EA online
