I've bought the Humble Origin Bundle and I've downloaded Battlefield 3. But when I try to install it, I have this error "DirectX configuration error: An internal error occurred". I'm french, the real error in french is "Erreur de configuration DirectX: une erreur interne est survenue." How can I resolve this error ? (I have DirectX 11)
How can I repair ?
At the back of the Battlefield 3 game box, the system requirements need DirectX 10 at least, and make sure your computer fit all the other requirements such as video card, intel processor and windows, and the best thing to do is to the Nvidia or Radion website to update your video card driver software, then the DirectX error will happen less. However, your computer might get overheated, just like mine
I've updated the drivers of my video card and it's not the problem.
"BF3 does not actually require Dx11, therefore what it is saying is that you have a bad version of Dx11 you have to repair. "
How can I repair ?
You can't repair or change your DirectX in your Com, because DirectX is part of windows, you can remove your windows and buy a windows with DirectX 10 or 11 and install it. Or the easier way is next time when you buy a new com, make sure you buy a gaming com with DirectX 11, Acer runs all games perfectly
