    1. Open Computer from the Start menu and go to: C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License
    2. **Program Data may be a hidden folder on your machine**
    3. Delete either 71067.dlf or 71069.dlf (depending on if you have Limited Edition or Standard)
    4. Reboot your machine.
    5. Launch Origin.
    6. Try to launch BF3.

Possible Solution One workaround is to delete the BF3 license file to to force a license update.

    First Workaround

    1. Exit Origin completely. You can do this by right-clicking Origin in your system tray (near the clock) and selecting "Exit"

    2. Open Internet Explorer (this will only work with Internet Explorer, not other browsers). Enter the following address into your address bar and press "Enter/Return"

    C:\ProgramData\Electronic Arts\EA Services\License

    3. Delete the file named either 71067.dlf or 70619 or 71069.dlf

    4. Restart your machine.

    5. Launch Origin and login to your Origin account.

    6. Attempt to launch Battlefield 3

    Second Workaround

    1. Exit Origin completely. You can do this by right-clicking Origin in your system tray (near the clock) and selecting "Exit"

    2. Open Internet Explorer (this will only work with Internet Explorer, not other browsers). Enter the following address into your address bar and press "Enter/Return"

    C:\ProgramData\Origin\DownloadCache

    3. Delete the files in this directory

    4. Restart your machine.

    5. Launch Origin and login to your Origin account.

    Same thing. Total gyp!!!

Only thing I can think of....my computer autoloaded the latest Windows Updates before it stopped working. They seem to be more hassle then they are useful!

I can't believe how many times I've had to reinstall and repair this game. I spend more time troubleshooting issues than I do playing. When will this thing be fixed? BF4 is almost out... will that have the same issues? Frustrating.

  • @LiBever this solution work only one time , and thene you will face the issue again .... , we need a FIX for the solution from EA .
    thanks for the help
  • I'm closing this thread to stop it from being necroed.

If you have any issues with Battlefield, please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.
