Battlefield 3 Limited Deluxe Edition

Hello, 4 days ago I purchased the Battlefield 3 Limited Deluxe Edition (No Karkand) (EU) and the Karkand DLC as I had the BF3 already but decided I wanted premium and the DLC as well. I received both keys for Battlefield 3 Limited Deluxe Edition (No Karkand) (EU) and Karkand, I redeemed both the keys and downloaded the game. When I launch the Battlefield 3 Limited Deluxe Edition it acts as the standard Battlefield 3 game, I have no premium and no DLC's except the Karkand DLC that I activated with a seperate key. Please help.

  • After you redeem the premium code you manually need to download the expansions to be able to use them.  Premium just gives you access to download the DLC free but does not download them for you.  Here is how to download the DLC on each platform:

    FOR Xbox360:

After you purchase Premium and redeem both the online pass and the Premium code and your Premium file downloads to your console make sure that you restart BF3 so the game initializes with the Premium file present.  When you get to the main title screen you will receive a pop up stating you are now premium and you will have a Premium background.  Next you will have to download the DLC expansions covered by Premium (the file just gives you access to download them but doesn't download them for you) via the Premium tab of the BF3 in game store (not via the Xbox Live Marketplace or it will charge you money again)then close BF3.  After all 5 expansions completely download (this could take a while since each expansion is about 2 GB) start BF3.  At the main menu you will receive a series of pop ups stating that you now have each expansion.  Now from the main menu go to multiplayer, open server browser and then open the server browser filter by clicking R3 and check all new maps and game modes or you won't find any games on the new expansions.

     For PS3:

After you redeem your Premium code make sure that you restart BF3 and upon restarting at the main title screen you will receive a pop up stating you are now premium and you will have a Premium background.  From the main title screen go to the BF3 in game store and download the DLC expansions covered by Premium via the Premium tab of the BF3 in game store then close and restart BF3.  After the expansions download go to the games portion of the XMB and click on each expansion's bubble to install the game.  After each expansion has been fully downloaded and installed restart BF3.  At this point you will receive a series of pop ups stating that you now have each expansion.  Now from the main menu go to multiplayer, open server browser and then open the server browser filter by clicking R3 and check all new maps and game modes or you won't find any games on the new expansions.

    For PC:

Start BF3 in Origin you will be prompted to download your expansions.  If this doesn't happen right click the BF3 icon in your games library and select "show game details" then on each expansion right click and select "download".  After all selected expansions download you can play BF3 on the expansion packs.  Then go to Battlelog, multiplayer, server browser and at the top of the page add the new expansion maps and game modes to your server browser filter settings to find games on the new maps.

If you are just downloading B2K you should be able to right click BF3's icon, select "show game details" and then right click the B2K icon and select download if you have the B2K account entitlemen on your origin account.  If this isn't happening I recommend to speak with a game advisor who can look at your account entitlements.  You can reach a game advisor here:  EA Customer support:  https://help.ea.com/contact-us

I recommend that you use the telephone option and the “call me” option so you don't have to stay on hold for a long time.

4 Enter the name of your game or product (or "Origin" for account-related issues) and click "Find Solutions"
5 Select the type of issue and the platform you play on, and click on "Find Solutions".
6 Click on the blue button "I still need help" if the FAQ articles do not apply to your situation.

I must be misunderstanding the nature of your problem since you did not mention purchasing Premium in the messages above, just purchasing the Limited Edition game which includes B2K and wanting the other expansios.  According to battlelog http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf3/user/BLACKOUT3381/ you do not have premium on either your PC or your PS3 account.  If are trying to purchase Premium in order to donwload all of the expansions you must purchase Premium for each platform that you wish to have Premium on, so if you want Premium on both PC and PS3 you must purchase it twice.  For PC you can purchase Premium via Origin, for PS3 you must purchase it via the PSN store or purchase a code for PS3 from a store like GameStop.

After you have purchased premium follow the instructions that I posted above for downloading the Premium covered expansions.

If you have already purchased Premium and it is not showing on your account, if it is PS3 try re-downloading the premium file, if it is PC or if the PS3 file is not in your download history you'll have to speak with a game advisor who can look at your account entitlements.  You can reach a Game Advisor here should you need to speak with one:  EA Customer support:  https://help.ea.com/contact-us
