Hello,First of all, my specs are: Core i7-4500U, 8 GB RAM, GeForce GT 750M (driver version 347.09), Windows 8.1. I've been playing Battlefield 3 on this PC for a while, i have 45 hours of gameplay and never had an issue like this. But now i can't play, the FPS is too low, there is too much lag, even on single player. I've already tried to reinstall the game, set it to run with the graphic card, close every process that wasn't necessary, tried different settings (i used to play on mid to high settings, now even on low it wont work). No matter the resolution or graphics settings, the problem is always the same.Did you experienced this before? How can i solve this problem?Thanks.

Thank you so much. I had this same issue and disabling the "Origin in game" box fixed the issue for me. Playing the game on Ultra settings now and the game is smooth as butter.

Other games like Far Cry 3, Fifa 14, Hitman Absolution and Tomb Raider works just fine.

OP there are a few things that might help, I see that you are on a laptop, can you make sure that BF3 is set to use only your high performance graphics card GT 750M instead of the on board GPU that is for normal PC operations.

Check to see if Origin in game is enables as it causes issues like you are reporting and it's enabled by default. To turn off Origin in game log into Origin, in the upper left hand corner click on the word "Origin" in the menu, and then click on "Application Settings". Next go to the "Origin in game" tab and uncheck the "enable Origin in game" box.

If neither of those help try running BF3 in Win7 compatibility mode as some users have reported that solves their performance problems.

If you have a Two Partition: Example C: and D:
you should change the game location uninstall it from C: Drive and Install a New Copy on D: Drive
I just got an Issue Low FPS i was install my game on C: Drive which it's the SSD Drive, i got no issue on HDD Drive on D: Drive when i install it there

open ur bf3 file and make a shortcut the open the shortcut properties,look for target and put anything there n quotations as in ("et cetera") unless it already is like that then space then -high and -dxlevel 81
