Battlefield 3 PC no packet flow error only on phone hotspot

Question

Whenever I try to play a multiplayer match on my personal hotspot, I get disconnected with no packet flow error. It does, however, work on my wifi, but the Ping is too high to play. Tried everything and just don't know what to do. PLEASE HELP!

Personal hotspot? Is that running off of a phone?

My hotspot even has a faster speed than my wi fi so it just makes no sense. And I heard hotspot shield will allow you to play, but I'm afraid it will mess up my computer. Just spent 100 bucks getting it debugged

Your phone hotspot (may be faster) but isn't meant for gaming because its connecting to cell towers. That would be the problem, there is not much you can do to fix that.

Yeah but it works on every other game I have, including planetside 2.
