Battlefield 3 Premium and "Battlefield 3 Premium membership"

Hello,

I have consulted this article:

What is the Difference between Battlefield 3 Premium and Battlefield 3 Premium Edition?

I'm confused on one thing, it and the BF3 website mention with Premium Edition you get "Battlefield 3 Premium membership" which includes being able to play on Premium servers I gather (among other things). If I just buy BF3 Premium, do I also get the membership?

Hi again!
You don't need to do that in the start. But if you see your game as a Limited Edition version instead of Premium you can just delete the Limited Edition (overlay) version and install it again afterwards.

Just wanted to be sure so it saves me the bother of messing around on Origin.

Hi there mach2infinity!
If you buy Battlefield 3 Premium Edition you get the game and Premium pass for a lower price. If you buy only the Premium pass you get Battlefield 3 Premium and all it's content, but you need the game first.

Thank you for the prompt reply.
Yes I already own the Limited Edition of the game, is that still compatible with the Premium package? Just to double-check, if I buy BF3 Premium or the 'premium pass', will that enable me to play on the Premium servers as well?

Yes, you can buy the Premium pass anyways. Just make sure to overlay the Limited Edition version of Battlefield 3 if you're playing on a PC.
