Battlefield 3 Premium purchased product code generates Limited Edition name and confirmation query

I purchased Battlefield 3 Premium. Entered the product code. Next screen said I had BF3 Limited Edition. I went back to the previous screen and tried again. Repeated process three times in total: with hyphens, without hyphens, all capitals, no change. I thus accepted Limited EDition assuming that the two week early thing was for when it was new and maybe this was a default for the post launch period. I assume I still have access to all 5 expansion packs, maps etc. even though it says Limited and not Premium. Thanks.

    Hi,

    Ignore previous post. It doesn't do everything in the initial install process.

    First it installs the game with the first product code. At the end of which it says you can play, however, it almost immediately goes into a long update without any initiation from the user.

    Second click Origin on the Main menu, select redeem product code.

    Third enter the second product code.

    Fourth it says product code is redeemed and proceeds to download all 5 packs as well as "Premium" which must be an add on itself.

    I presume once it has downloaded all the packs we will be ready to go to war!

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi swartzimba,

    in your Origin client only the games are shown. If you

    right click BF3 and choose show game details, scroll

    down to see what expansions you have available.

    Hi,

    Thanks for replying. As I suspected it doesn't think I have Premium. It shows Premium as something I can purchase along with the 5 expansion packs, which of course I have bought when I bought Premium. I clicked Premium and attempted to use the second code, which talks about BF3 Premium membership - All 5 expansion packs... naturally it said already used or expired code! The whole point of buying the Premium version was it included all 5 packs.

    Is there anything that can be done other than return the game to the shop and get my money back? Thanks.

    You could try to contact a game advisor to check on the account/code.

    Maybe something went wrong.

    go to

    https://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/ask

    * Fill in "account" in the search bar
    * hit find solutions
    * Then select product in the first selecting bar, account management in the second and select your platform in the last bar.
    * Hit find solutions.

    Now you will be given multiple solutions to your problem. To contact support you need to click "I still need help".

    Now you have the opportunity to start a chat session or contact them by e-mail.
