Battlefield 3 Visual Errors

I have no idea why this happens and when it does, the textures and the screen start blinking and black things all over the screen. I have absolutely no idea why this happens. When it happens i have to leave and rejoin so it goes away.I am not a pro PC guy. Here is a video where i filmed it when it happend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4d62BsyCV5g

    Thanks for leaving a video!

    I would say it's most likely one of the following:

    • Your graphics card driver is corrupt or bad in some way, now I don't know your graphics card but try updating it's driver with a clean install.
    • Graphics card overheating (filled with dust perhaps?)
    • Faulty graphic cards components (most likely the memory) - does this appear in other graphic intensive DirectX11 games? If not, it's probably not this.
    • A broken BF3 installation - try to right click the game in Origin and click repair.

    that looks like the nvidia driver texture bug, what card and driver are you using?

    It sure looks like a driver bug. I have had something similar but resovled it by updating my graphics drivers.

    As Carbonic also points out it could be a sign to a faulty graphics card.

    Please accept solutions if they are correct and press the XP button if somebody helped you. This way the case will show as "Solved" thus helping others with the same problem.

    Sorry for long response time, i have been gone in the weekend. I have the NVIDIA GTX 660 gpu. And i don't know what you mean wabout driver. How do i check what driver i am using?

    It does not appear in other games. Only in BF3 from my experience. And maybe it is dust, i have taken out a bit dust a couple of weeks ago.

    Thank you! I haven't encountered this problem yet, but it didn't occur either. I have the latest driver installed now. Now it is just to wait if it happens again!
